Reference photo for this beach scene.  We'll compose some waves and rearrange people but the life savers create a group of the same clothing but varied individuals.

Drawing and first washes using some mask on the tops of the figures. Ulramarine blue mix adding more cerulean as the water gets closer.

Beach colours added - warmer the closer

Sea horizon added into rewetted sky.

Yellow shirts with many colours added to create darks.

 Complete other figures and add seat, stretcher, towels etc.   Leave aside to look at later.

Few more dabs to help composition - water, shadows, clothes - wave shape emphasis moves to the right and middling composition works ok.
