QAS November 2011 demonstration painting

Drawing, mask and first washes.  The distant city buildings provide a pattern of shapesabove the trees and bridge.Yarra given some warms with the sky colour.

Using a bright white soft paper that gives strong contrasts and high absorbtion of colour. 

Darks under the bridge painted in varying colours but in one pass.  Close to landing boards in brighter warms and tube green.

Skin tones painted in varying mixtures to represent different light and shadow arrangements.

Somedarks and colours added to the figures.  Look at later to finish

Extra washes on the water, more dabs on the girls, crop, matted and signed.
